DIN EN ISO 14001:2015 – Our Commitment to the Environment
Eckart GmbH has certified its environmental management system according to DIN EN ISO 14001:2015. This international standard confirms our sustainable approach to continuously improving environmental performance and minimizing negative environmental impacts. We are committed to using resources efficiently and reducing emissions, thus actively contributing to environmental protection.
Climate Pact for Schlüchtern – Local Responsibility
As a member of the "Climate Pact for Schlüchtern," we take responsibility for climate protection in our region. Through joint projects and initiatives, we actively fight climate change and promote sustainable developments locally.
Eckart GmbH is a member of the local "Climate Pact for Schlüchtern"
and takes local responsibility against climate change.
The Climate Pact is an initiative of the Association for Business and Tourism (WITO) and a collaboration of companies in Schlüchtern, which have committed to sustainably reduce their carbon footprint. Non-further reducible emissions are offset, and the funds are used for reforesting areas damaged by climate with climate-resistant, native deciduous tree species in our immediate region. In recognition of these efforts, we were awarded the Environmental Prize of the Main-Kinzig district in 2022.
